Our Mission Statement:
The San Fernando Valley Faith Coalition (SFVFC) is a joint effort between the Los Angeles Police Department and San Fernando Valley faith organizations to create partnerships with law enforcement, faith, government, business, entertainment, education, and non-profit community leaders to preserve lives, marriages, and families through prayer, outreach, and crisis response.
Our Vision:
To give businesses and our communities the opportunity to get involved with groups which are working to curb the diverse crises that arise daily in our neighborhoods and within our families.

How to Get Involved:
Faith Coalition membership includes clergy of any denomination, as well as police officers, educators, businesspeople and civic leaders. The common threads in our Coalition are faith and a desire to improve conditions in our Valley. We believe that we must lead by example, and we hope that the diversity of our group proves that people of different religious, or social, or economic, or racial backgrounds can bind together to achieve common goals; that we can live, work and play side by side in peace.
Having committed ourselves to each other, our Coalition is now committed to bringing together the diverse groups of the Valley. Our goals are to end gang violence; to eliminate illiteracy, to give every child the opportunity to grow up in a safe home, to make it possible for every child to obtain a college education, and to restore in this society a religious foundation. Ours is a Divine Purpose.
There is much to be done. The odds appear to be overwhelming. We could use your help.
